Prior to the decision to lay off 6000 employees but unable to reduce the corresponding workload, what Sun Microsystems needed to do was to maintain the morale and spirit of the remaining employees, helping them solve their job requirements. but not lose enthusiasm.

Sun Microsystems has invested in employees attending the GTD® training course with the expectation that all employees will be able to complete the work quickly and efficiently despite the large workload.

After the training, the workload at the company was assessed, projects were prioritized and few projects were put on hold. Thanks to the effective GTD® workflow management tool, managers and staff are more productive.

While most employees thought they were depressed, after learning GTD®, Sun Microsystem employee satisfaction increased again and gained in terms of work efficiency.
